The client found two door panels in his loft in very poor condition (see pic.).  His front door, however contained three ordinary glass panels.  I was asked to restore the two existing panels and build a third.

To prevent the new panel looking obviously new, I distributed the remaining glass from both the damaged panels between all three.

The completed door panel matched well with the panel above.
